Thursday 3rd July 2008

What's been happening since I last updated my diary? Well I've been to a birthday party. My friend Harry was 1 on 27th June, so me and my pal Isobel went along to celebrate with him last Saturday. What else? Well, I've got my top 2 teeth coming through finally. After weeks of a spotty face, a sore bottom, a runny nose and copious amounts of bonjela they have finally put in an appearance. Thank goodness for that. I'm still not quite crawling. I'm trying really hard, but I just can't quite muster the strength to get my legs doing what they're supposed to. Lots of my friends are doing it already, and my friends Amelia and Poppy are even walking - wow. They are clever. But I'm rolling around a lot and managing to cover a lot of ground! I have a new cousin as from today, which is the most exciting news. She is called Isabelle Grace and was born this morning at 9.09am weighing 8lb 6oz (that's 6lb 1oz more than I did!). Congratulations Auntie Shellie & Uncle Chris. I'm looking forward to meeting cousin Isabelle soon, and telling her all the tricks to keep her mummy and daddy on their toes! I've set a date for my baptism by the way - Sunday 24th August - around the time when I should have been having my first birthday. I'm looking forward to seeing all my pals there, and my neighbour Father Keith is going to baptise me, which will be nice. Mummy says she's got a tier of her and daddy's wedding cake in the freezer to have as my baptism cake. Not sure I like the idea of a 5 year old cake, but mummy assures me it will taster yummy. Mummy is running her 5km race for life on Sunday, so don't forget to sponsor her. Run, mummy run!

Hello pretty girl. What a fast little mover you've become. It was brilliant seeing you yesterday when you brought Granny Meikle to visit your newest coursin, Isabelle-how lucky am I? - my two best girls in one room together.
Lots of love & kisses Granny J x x
