Sunday 23rd September 2007

This is a picture of me with my mummy and daddy. I've spent lots of time with them this weekend, and although I'm not sleeping in the same room as them any more, I still let them know I'm there by exercising my lungs occasionally! I met cousin Daniel on Saturday, and spent a lovely time at the farm park with Auntie Emma and Uncle Philip. We saw goats, pigs, sheep, cows and even alpacas. Then today I've met some of mummy's university friends. I met some of them before at the hospital when I was in my incubator, but I was much smaller then and they couldn't hold me. Today they couldn't believe how much I'd grown. I think I'm having another growth spurt at the moment, as all I want to do is feed and sleep. I found out some good news yesterday - my friend Gene Green has finally gone home from the Special Care Unit. Gene was born on 11th May, so he's had a long innings in the hospital, but he's finally home - well done Gene - I'll see you soon.

Harriet, you are such a lovely girl, and we would like to come and see you. Can you ask Mummy if that is possible. We are going to see your great uncle Andrew on October 5th, and wonder if we could pop in and have an audience on the way? Perhaps you could ask Mummy to let us know.
Love Great Uncle David and Great Aunt Rosie.

hiya Harriet,

I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed spending time with you and your mummy and daddy last week. We had lots of cuddles and it was great to see how much you were changing in just 3 days! I hope that reflux is not giving you too much grief, your such a brave little one.
I can't wait to come and see you again (and mummy of course!). Bye for now xxxxx cousin cath
